This on‑farm case study from Agriculture Victoria’s On‑Farm Emissions Action Plan Pilot follows the McClelland family’s mixed cropping and sheep enterprise in the Southern Mallee as they measure and analyse their farm’s emissions profile.

It explains how Scope 1, 2 and particularly Scope 3 (embedded) emissions contribute to total carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂‑e) output, what that means for cropping and livestock enterprises, and how knowing your numbers can help inform input decisions and long‑term sustainability strategies.
